The internal Involute spline detail has been wire cut on one of our Charmilles machines.
Many of our machines are large enough to accommodate the variety of components typical of Oil & Gas requirements, nearly always in difficult to machine materials, high Nickle alloys etc

We currently undertake work for a number of research facilities in some of the top UK Universities involved in Industry leading engineering projects.

We are also part of the group which manufactured a critical component contained with the BAPS Structure used in the Sentinel 2A Satellite.
This close up shows a section of the BAPS Structure. The “fins” you can see are approximately the width of a human hair. The component was manufactured by excel-precision on our state-of-the-art Agie Charmilles wire and spark erosion machines.
